We have had such a wonderful summer, full of travels, adventures, and time spent with family and friends. I have been meaning to put up a blog post to share some of my favorite images from this summer, and finally have a few minutes to sit down and put it together. I still have SO many more of these images to go through and edit, but here are a few highlights. Thank you for looking!
These images were taken during a get together with my friend Suzy Mead (Portraits by Suzy), and her adorable little girl, Mia. I just love these two together. Are wedding bells in their future? You never know! :)
Fishing for magic…
This was taken during another get together with my friend Suzy! We decided to have some blue hour fun with my oldest daughter, Calista and some sparklers. :)
On our trip to Montana, we stopped and paid a visit to the lavender fields in Mona, Utah. They were so beautiful and smelled AMAZING! I think Octavia loved the smell too!
Millie had fun dancing in the lavender fields…
This photo here is probably my new favorite of my sweet little Elliott. He LOVES music so this image is very much him. The mosquitoes were a little bit annoying (okay, who am I kidding – they were atrocious) but this picture made the bites worth it. At least I’d like to think so. Gosh, I love Montana. I can’t wait to make this state our home.
We also visited the Ho’h Rainforest in Washington. I still have many more of these to work on, but just look at this cute little fairy we came upon sleeping on a log! After having lived in the deserts of Arizona for 17 years, I didn’t know what to do with all of this green, but I sure did love it! Washington is my home state, by the way. My mom and dad still live there and we visit as often as we’re able to. :)
My beautiful girl – her eyes are hypnotizing! The catchlights made by the rain forest canopy were so interesting!
And who can visit Washington state without a trip to the ocean? This is Ruby Beach and one of the highlights of our trip. The kids had SO much fun here! Gabriel went face first into the water about 2 minutes after we arrived, so he got to run around in his birthday suit the rest of the day. I don’t think he minded too much! Oh to have an ocean closer by. There is something so soothing, calming, and healing about the beach.
And last but not least, please meet the newest member of our family, Luna (Calista calls her Dennis lol). This is our new Siberian kitty that we just brought home this month. Isn’t she beautiful? She’s fit right in to our big, crazy family.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website and check out my work! Stay tuned as I have many more beautiful images and sessions to post in the coming days. :)
